Here's How it Works:
1. Customers access your online store where they can browse and add products to their shopping cart.

2. When they are ready to checkout the Customer is redirected to the payment gateway where they enter their credit card details via a secure payment page.



3. The payment gateway then processes the transaction with both the Customer's and Merchant's respective financial institutions.

4. The Customer and Merchant receive email notification of the successful transaction.

5. All the details needed for the Merchant to fulfil the order are logged in the online store's database which is accessed via the administration console.
